Grant of right to vote to overseas Pakistanis: SC constitutional bench seeks written reply from NADRA, Election commission

Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has sought written reply from NADRA and Election Commission in the case of grant of right to vote to overseas Pakistanis.

A five members SC constitutional bench presided over by Justice Amin ud Din Khan took up the case for hearing Friday.

The court remarked it should be told what steps have been taken so far for overseas Pakistanis voting. NADRA and Election Commission should file detailed reply within two weeks.

PTI founder Imran Khan and Sheikh Rashid have resorted to court in connection with grant of right to vote to overseas Pakistanis.

Lawyer Dawood Ghaznvi too has filed petition already in SC
