Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered police to provide protection to lady doctor and her family members.

The court issued these orders in the case of harassing lady doctor and her family members during the bid to occupy her home.

The court restrained the alleged occupants from taking possession of the doctor's house and from harassing her.

The court directed IG Islamabad, SSP and the respective SHO to ensure safety of lady doctor Nuzhat Shakoor and her family members besides seeking reply from the respondents.

Justice Khadim Soomro issued orders for hearing of the petition filed by Dr Nuzhat Sahkoor .

The court ordered police authorities should provide protection to petitioner and her family members. Proper security be provided to Dr Nuzhat Shakoor.

High Court while directing SHO police station Humak to appear in person on next hearing has sought compliance report based on the steps for safety of the petitioner.

The court directed police and local management should ensure personal safety of the petitioner and safety of her property.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till October 13.

Dr Nuzhat Shakoor has resorted to court against harassing her and her family members during the attempt for occupying the home.
