Dhakka: The commission constituted to probe into the violent mutiny which took place 16 years before has disclosed in its report that former Prime Minster (PM) Haseena Wajid had ordered for murdering dozens of senior military officers and massacring.
The infuriated personnel of Borders Guards Bangladesh had killed 74 persons during 2 days mutiny which started from Dhakka in 2009.
It is pertinent to mention here this incident took place soon after Haseena Wajid came to power again. This led to de-stabilization of her government.
Haseena Wajid government was toppled due to the country wide anti Haseena Wajid demonstrations by the students. An interim government under Muhammad Yunis constituted a new commission to probe into this matter.
Haseena Wajid 78 is taking refuge in India at present. She is neglecting the court's orders of her return to Bangladesh.
Information office Bangladesh said chairman of Commission LM Fazlur Rehman told that Awami League government under Haseena Wajid was directly invoved in this treason. Former member parliament Fazal Noor Taposh was working as coordinator. The project of massacring was moved forward at the behest of Haseena Wajid.
In a statement issued from information office it was further told that evidence of involvement of a foreign power have also come to fore.
Later Fazlur Rehman said in a press conference India tried to destabilize the country weaken the army of Bangladesh after this massacring.
