Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) has adjourned hearing of contempt of EC and contempt of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) case against PTI founder and Fawad Chaudhry till October 22 and 23 respectively.The EC expressed annoyance over non presenting PTI founder through video link.The court on the complaint of disruption in internet system summoned PTA authorities in next session.Commission met under member Sindh Nisar Durrani .State counsel told during the hearing that as per jail authorities PTI founder cannot be presented through video link due to disruption in internet system.Counsel for PTI founder said if commission orders to present PTI founder then internet system will stand rectified forthwith.He said government is trying to keep PTI founder from people and I am not being allowed to meet him.Member commission inquired from state counsel internet is responsibility of whom.He told Jail authorities have lodged complaint with PTCL.Assistant Superintendent Jail told it is impossible to present Imran Khan at this time through video link due to disruption in internet system.The commission while directing jail authorities to file written reply with commission adjourned the hearing of the case till October 22.The hearing of the case against Fawad Chaudhry was adjourned till October 23.
