Islamabad: Court has adjourned hearing of controversial tweet case against Imaan Mazari and her husband Hadi Ali Chatha till October 20. Controversial tweet case came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad. Additional District and Sessions judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka heard the case. Emaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha appeared in the court. A miscellaneous petition was filed by the prosecution for voice matching. The court issued notice on miscellaneous petition of prosecution. Prosecutor Usman Rana and Emaan Mazari exchanged harsh words.

Prosecutor Usman Rana said court should fix the case for hearing tomorrow and decide on miscellaneous petition. Qaisar Imam counsel for Imaan Mazari did not appear in the court due to Supreme Court (SC) Bar Election. The court adjourned the hearing of the case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali till October 20. It is pertinent to mention here NCCIA has registered case against Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha in connection with controversial tweet.
