Hearing of GHQ attack case against PTI founder others adjourned

Rawalpindi: Hearing of GHQ attack case against PTI founder, former Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi and others has been adjourned till December 16 being judge Amjid Ali Shah on leave.Hearing however took place before duty sessions judge Rawalpindi.The court directed to issue arrest warrants of absenting accused including KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur and former federal minister Shibli Faraz.During the hearing of the case, Umar Ayoub,Zartaj Gul, Sheikh Rashid Rafiq, former MNA Muhammad Ahmad Chatha from Wazir Abad, former MNA, Chaudhry Bilal and other accused appeared in the court Tuesday.Counsels of the accused including Dr Babar Awan, Syed Taqi Hasnain Shah and Sardar Shahbaz Khan were present in the court.Exemption pleas were filed from Ali Amin Gandapur and Sheikh Rashid in the court.Syed Taqi Hasnain Shah counsel for Muhammad Ahmad Chatha and Chaudhry Bilal told the court as per subordinate staff of Anti Terrorism Court , December 13 has been fixed as next date while case s are registered against their clients in different cities. Due to it they have to appear in court of one city one day and in the court of other city on other day. Therefore the court is requested to fix new date for their clients according to the dates in respect of other cases.The court fixed December 16 for next hearing.
