Hearing of petitions seeking removal of name of YouTuber Rajab Butt, TikToker Nadeem Mubarak Naniwala from Travel ban list adjourned

Islamabad: No headway has been made on the petitions seeking removal of name of YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak Naniwala from Travel ban list.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 26.

Petitions seeking removal of name of YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak Naniwala from Travel ban list came up for hearing in IHC.

Justice Azam Khan of IHC took up both the petitions for hearing.

Barrister Raja Qadir Janjua and Ahd Khokhar counsels for the petitioners appeared in the court.

Reply from government side could not be filed and request was made for giving more time.

Counsel Qadir Janjua told the court visas are expiring due to

non removal of name from travel ban list.

The learned judge inquired when the visas are going to expire.

The counsel for the petitioners said the visa of one among them will expire in March and visa of the second person will expire later.

The court inquired from the state counsel that their visas are going to expire. Why the reply has not been filed.

The state counsel requested the court to give date after Eid. We will file the reply.

Justice Muhammad Azam Khan remarked this is matter of expiry of visas. We will hear it immediately after Eid.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 26.
