Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has adjourned hearing of reserved seats case till Monday on the plea from Faisal Siddiqui counsel for Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) seeking time for filing reply.
Review appeal in connection with reserved seats came up for hearing in SC constitutional bench Tuesday.
An 11-member SC constitutional bench presided over by Justice Amin ud Din Khan took up the case for hearing.
Sikandar Bashir counsel for election commission and Haris Azmat counsel for PML-N appeared in the court.
Faisal Siddiqui counsel for SIC requested for adjourning the hearing till Monday.
Faisal Siddiqui sought time to file reply.
He said notice was not received on first hearing. War broke out on second hearing.
The court adjourned hearing of review appeal in the case till May 19.
