Islamabad: A high level consultation meeting was held under the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and law and order situation in KP , legal and constitutional matters related to the province and likely steps came under consideration in details in the meeting.

According to sources during the meeting it was agreed to take all respective stake holders into confidence by federal government before evolving future strategy.

Sources said the meeting was attended by interior minister Mohsin Naqvi, law minister Azam Nazir Tarar, information minister Atta Ullah Tarar and state minister for interior Talal Chaudhry.

Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi gave briefing to PM particularly on law and order situation in KP.

As per sources Law minister Azam Nazir Tarar informed the meeting about legal and constitutional matters and available legal ways in regard to KP.

Sources said interior minister took the PM into confidence with reference to behind the scenes contacts with PTI leadership.

Different legal and constitutional options were considered to overcome situation in the province.

As per sources PM Shehbaz Sharif has decided to take into confidence all stake holders before any important decision on KP .

PM will meet the president on this matter.

The KP situation was reviewed in terms of different perspectives in the meeting.

It was also considered to continue consultation with reference to future steps.
