Lahore: Ameer Tanzeem-e-Islami Shujauddin Shaikh has said that high-ranking government officials signaling participation in the Abraham Accords and establishing relations with the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel is extremely alarming.He unequivocally stated that the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, immediately after the establishment of Pakistan, declared Israel an "illegitimate child of the West" and stated that Pakistan would never recognize Israel. This had established Pakistan's permanent and unwavering state policy of never recognizing the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel. Years before, during the Pakistan Movement, Quaid-e-Azam also said: "As long as even one Muslim man and woman is alive, there is no acceptable justification for the existence of a Jewish state on the land of Palestinians." The Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami also referenced the visit of Pakistan's first Prime Minister, Shaheed Liaquat Ali Khan, to America. When a Jewish host offered that if Pakistan recogniz ed Israel, "treasures would be opened" for it, the Shaheed e Millat famously refused with the faith-inspiring words: "Gentlemen, our souls are not for sale." The Ameer stated that the history of Western countries is filled with criminal acts of genocide perpetrated on indigenous populations, and now they are fully assisting Israel in the ongoing genocide of Muslims in Gaza.He also highlighted that from a religious perspective Jews have been deemed "Maghzoob Alaihim" (those who have incurred Allah's wrath), and their dark history is detailed in the Holy Qur'an. Furthermore, he added that after the Jews' dismissal as an Ummah, no one but Muslims has the right to the guardianship of the Qibla-e-Awal (Al-Aqsa Mosque) and the Holy Land.He expressed surprise and regret that despite all these proofs and justifications, the discussion of recognizing the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel is resurrected in Pakistan every now and then, which is extremely shameful. He questioned how Pakistan could then raise its v oice against the Indian occupation of Kashmir if it recognized the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel today. The Ameer warned government officials who are attempting to revive this discussion that the people of Pakistan will never allow their Palestinian brethren to be stabbed in the back.He appealed to religious scholars and organizations to unite against this attempt to pave the way for recognizing the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel and become a "Bunyaanum Marsus" (a solidified/fortified structure) against this nefarious objective. He emphasized that Pakistan's unwavering state policy of not recognizing the illegitimate Zionist state of Israel cannot be reversed today or in the future, even if all other Arab countries, and the entire world, recognize it.
