Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned till April 30 hearing of case against kidney transplant by plastic surgeon.

Justice Hashim Kakar, head of the bench remarked how can plastic surgeon conduct kidney transplant. Transplant is very complicated.

The court has remarked Dr makes the kidney disappear of people. He should remain in jail for 75 years.

The case against Kidney transplant by plastic surgeon came up for hearing in the court.

The accused Dr Fawad Mumtaz did not appear in the court.

The defence counsel appeared in the court.

Director Legal Punjab Imran Ahmad said the accused who is plastic surgeon was arrested while conducting illegal kidney transplant in sector 17/B Islamabad. No operation theatre was therein. This doctor has already been arrested while conducting such transplants. The accused is still on bail and there are several cases against him. His trial is running.

The court inquired are patients alive.

Director Legal Punjab said the patients are still alive in respect of those he was conducting kidney transplant.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till April 30.
