Islamabad: Election Commission (EC) has said if intra party election of PTI are not accepted then its organizational structure will remain no more.A 3-members commission under member Sindh of EC Nisar Durrani took up the case for hearing Wednesday.Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar appeared in the EC.Member Balochistan inquired were the election of PTI held in Chamakni.Barrister Gohar replied no Sir, elections were held in Islamabad too.Barrister Gohar said we have to file documents. Time from one week to 10 days be given to us. `The bench inquired from EC authorities if we don't accept intra party election of PTI now too then what will be future.DG political finance told the bench no organizational structure of party will remain any more.The bench directed the authorities to provide assistance to them at this point.Barrister Gohar said we too will assist you on this matter. EC had done what it could do on not holding intra party election.Member KP inquired if even now too we don't acce pt PTI intra party election then we have powers to do what.DG Political finance told bench proceedings can be initiated under section 208 of election act. There should have been interval of 5 years between two intra party elections.Member KP said you should not give reply at present. Assist us in future on this point.Navid Anjum the petitioner against rejection of nomination papers for election of chairman party appeared before the bench.He said he wanted to contest PTI intra party election. I filed papers for election on the post of chairman PTI which were rejected. Our appeal was also rejected. We have appeared in EC.Member EC said you should file your application. We will hear you on next hearing.Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said his papers were rejected.The commission gave date of October 2 to Naveed Anjum.The EC while giving time to PTI for filing documents adjourned the hearing till October 2.
