Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while accepting plea of Deputy Commissioner (DC) to grant time for filing procedure on appointments against vacant posts in patwar khana in federal capital has directed him to submit reply till September 21.
The court has remarked those government officers should be appointed in patwar circles who facilitate people. People are paying bribe to the private persons sitting in patwar khanas.
The case for making appointments on vacant seats in patwar Khanas in Islamabad came up for hearing in IHC Monday.
DC sought time to file procedure regarding appointments.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani inquired have you seen state counsel report.
Assistant commissioner Industrial area said he has not seen the report so far.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said local government is not there in Islamabad.
Advocate General (AG) Islamabad said some time be given. Appointments will be made.
AG said the decisions of high court and supreme court are there regarding quota system.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said rules will have to be amended. No one is indispensable for any position. People die and are retired and dismissed.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 17.
