Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the provision of plots to CDA employees under legal rights be ensured at every cost.
IHC has sought progress report in provision of plots to CDA employees case next week.
The case came up for hearing before Justice Amin Minhas of IHC Tuesday.
The court remarked it becomes clear from reply of CDA member estate and director estate the institution has been allotting plots to its employees in phases since 1971.
The court remarked their legal and moral right has not been given to the employees who have completed service about 30 years or above in CDA and their family members including widows and orphans are present .
CDA took the plea certain administrative problems are being faced due to appointment of new member estate.
The court however maintained all the facts are accepted in the record, therefore this stance is not acceptable.
The court while referring to previous decisions of Supreme Court and High Court maintained that the implementation is must in the light of these precedents.
The court has fixed the date for hearing after one week besides summoning progress report on next hearing.
The court made it clear its decisions will be got implemented sternly in the event of non-compliance.
