IHC directs to implement order regarding meetings with Imran Khan in jail

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed to implement orders regarding meetings with Imran Khan in Adiala jail.

The meeting be arranged as per list, the court remarked.

The court directed Adiala jail superintendent to ensure immediate implementation of court's decision regarding meetings.

A 3-member bench of IHC comprising Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Arbab Tahir and Justice Azam Khan issued this order.

Larger bench made it clear meetings with PTI founder will be arranged as per security policy orders.

Citing to its March 24 decision the court directed superintendent Adiala jail to ensure implementation of procedure and permits issued for meetings.

The court directed meetings be allowed in future and all the steps be taken as per law and security regulations.

The court ordered that meeting of those also be arranged whose list will be provided by Suleman Akram Raja.

It is pertinent to mention here Chief Minister (CM) KP Muhammad Sohail Afridi was also present in the court on Thursday.

When the hearing was concluded he left for Adiala jail.
