Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has dismissed the petition seeking cancellation of red warrant of Yunus Kidwai, co-accused of President Asif Ali Zardari in fake bank accounts cases.

The petition has been rejected being not persuaded.

Case was called repeatedly during the course of hearing but the petitioner did not appear.

The petition against red warrant of Yunus Kidwai came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sardar Sarfraz Dogar Monday.

No one appeared in the court from Yunus Kidwai side on calling the case.

However NAB special prosecutor Rafay Maqsood appeared in the court.

The court dismissed Yunus Kidwai petition being not persuaded.

It is pertinent to mention here Yunus Kidwai had filed petition seeking cancellation of his red warrants.
