Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has abolished the hindrance of going abroad `by Shoaib Shaheen following activation of his passport.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of IHC issued written order of hearing of the case

The order said that according to FIA and Immigration authorities, passport became dysfunctional due to technical fault.

FIA has said they have nothing to do with making passport dysfunctional.

FIA and Passport authorities declared the blocking of PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen passport as technical fault.

The order said as per report passport of Shoaib Shaheen has become active. There is no hindrance in going abroad by Shoaib Shaheen. The matter has been settled.

The plea of the petitioner has been adjourned till January 13.
