Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing the petition filed by journalist Ehtesham Abbasi against shut down of social media App X.The hearing will take place in February 2025 Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq will hear the petition on February 6, 2025.The last hearing on the petition against closure of social media platform X was held on April 17, 2024.The case was fixed against closure of X on May 2 and June 11. But hearing could not be held.The miscellaneous petition for fixing early hearing of the case was approved on November 2.Chief Justice (CJ) IHC directed to fix the case for hearing after winter vacation.IHC registrar fixed the case for hearing on February 6, 2025.
