IHC gives more time to interior ministry for filing report on PTI protest

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given more time to interior ministry for filing report related to PTI protest.The Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq remarked court's order was simple that law and order has to be maintained. The court had ordered that you have to take care of rights of the citizens. But you have made the matter so complex.He gave these remarks during hearing of contempt of court plea filed by Islamabad traders on violation of court's orders related to PTI protest Wednesday.The CJ IHC inquired during hearing of the case has report been filed by interior ministry.The interior ministry sought time for filing report regarding protest.State Counsel Abdul Rehman told the court report has not been filed so far. Some time is needed.The CJ IHC inquired what is problem. Why the report is not being presented. You have to tell you have done what. It is difficult to tell. File report so that we could come to know what has happened.The court while summoning report adjourned t he hearing of the case till next week.
