IHC issues written on hearing of Dr Fouzia Siddiqui case regarding health of Dr Aafia , her release and return to Pakistan

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued written order in connection with hearing of Dr Fouzia Siddiqui petition regarding matters related to health, release and return of Dr Aafia Siddiqui to Pakistan.The court in its order has declared good omen approval of summary by Prime Minister regarding expenses in respect of the delegation set up for proceeding to US in connection with Dr Aafia Siddiqui case.The court has fixed for hearing the case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui concerning her health, release and return to Pakistan on December 12.Justice Sardar Ejaz Khan issued one page order wherein it is stated court was told that prime minister has approved the summary of expenses in respect of the delegation which is proceeding to US. It is good omen.About government visas of the delegation, information ministry representative told the court all the efforts are being made in this connection.According to representative of foreign ministry passports were filed with visa applications on Friday.The order sa id foreign ministry is fully hopeful visas will be provided. It was told foreign ministry is in persistent contact with US consulate for this purpose.It was told that the passports of Dr Fouzia Siddiqui and Dr Iqbal are not being withdrawn.As per order the latest communication of US lawyer Mr Smith requests for logistic and help like this for the delegation.The next hearing of the case was fixed on December 13.
