IHC orders police to recover missing person within an hour

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered federal police to recover missing Christian citizen within an hour.

The citizen has gone missing from Islamabad.

As per media report, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said the missing citizen Afzal Masih be recovered and presented in the court.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir took up for hearing petition filed by female citizen Rukhsana.

Zulfiqar Bhutta advocate appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner said her husband Afzal has gone missing from the area of Malpur, Police station Bhara Kahu. An influential person of the are leveled allegation of buffalo stealing against him. The influential person has kept her husband in habeas corpus.

The petitioner said the application was given to the police but no action was taken by the police.

The court summoned federal police DSP Legal Sajid Cheema who was present in the court room on the rostrum.

The court directed DSP legal Sajid Cheema " DSP Sahb, see this matter.

DSP legal said time be given till Monday. I will see the matter.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said there is no time till Monday. The kidnapped person be recovered within an hour and be presented in the court.

The court announced interval in the hearing with these directives.
