Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has announced decision on the plea of daughter of Bushra Bibi.

The petition on access of personal doctor to Bushra Bibi and family members meeting came up for hearing in IHC. The court ordered Adiala jail superintendent to give decision within two days on the petition of daughter of Bushra Bibi. The court directed that superintendent Adiala jail should pass written order with reasons. The court further said in the order superintendent Adiala Jail has been summoned on May 6 in person. It is pertinent to mention here Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir took up for hearing petition filed by Mubashra, daughter of Bushra Bibi.

Suleman Akram Raja appeared on behalf of the petitioner. During the hearing of the course the court inquired has application been given to Adiala jail authorities. Upon it Suleman Akram Raja presented copy of application given to Adiala jail authorities. He told the court the application has been filed through courier as well as by himself in person in jail. The court directed state counsel that the decision be given on the petition before next hearing.

Suleman Akram Raja informed the court surgery of Bushra Bibi was conducted on the night between April 16 and 17. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked this matter is available on social media too.

The court remarked the application is being sent to jail authorities for giving decision by them on it. Hearing of the case was adjourned till May 6.
