Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to register case against SP CTD, SHO Secretariat and other accused police officers in the case of keeping a citizen Ali Muhammad in illegal detention by federal police.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till March 11.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has remarked no JIT. When one man can understand the thing then there is no need of three. FIR should be registered till next hearing. Then we see investigation goes where. If they are innocent then it will come in investigation. Has it happened so ever that investigation has occurred without registering FIR.
He gave these remarks while hearing petition filed by father of citizen Ali Muhammad.
The court was told that statement of Ali Muhammad who has been kept in illegal detention of police has been got recorded before magistrate.
The counsel Sher Afzal Marwat read out the statement of Ali Muhammad under 164 in the court.
DSP legal said copy of statement of Ali Muhammad under section 164 has not been provided to us so far.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked "tell IG Sahb, case be registered against police officials on receipt of this copy. Police will register FIR and arrest all officials including SP CTD.
DSP legal requested we constitute JIT on this matter.

Counsel Sher Afzal Marwat said these people are sitting on important positions and investigation has to be made by them. Then what investigation will be conducted.
The court remarked we will call IG on next hearing then we will see who has to conduct investigation.
The court while ordering to register the case adjourned the hearing till March 11.
