Islamabad: Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro of Islamabad High Court (IHC) while restraining CDA from cutting trees of all kinds from Atta Turk Avenue Express Chowk to Agha Khan road in federal capital has sought reply.

As per media reports the counsels for petitioner Ayesha Muzaffar took the plea it is order of court CDA cannot cut trees of any kind in Islamabad.

CDA is cutting trees in the guise of expanding the roads despite court’s orders . More than 55 large trees and scores of small trees will be cut due to this project.

The court while restraining CDA from chopping trees of all kinds has issued notice besides seeking reply.

The hearing of the case has been adjourned till next week.
