Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought arguments on merit in respect of petition for ban on PTI founder X accounts and contempt of court case for not arranging meeting with PTI founder on next hearing.
The court sought reply from barrister Gohar regarding account of PTI founder.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked we are hearing you without obtaining directives from PTI founder. See the generosity of state that it is not raising objection .
Suleman Akram Raja said he cannot give arguments on merit of case without making consultations with PTI founder because he is main respondent in the case. Instructions are not being allowed to be sought from him. .
On the other hand superintendent Adiala jail filed reply in contempt of court case for not arranging meeting with Imran Khan.
Superintendent Adiala Jail while filing reply in the court took the plea political talk is made during meeting with PTI founder, therefore meeting cannot be arranged.
Court inquired if assurance is given for not making political talks then will the permission be given.
State counsel said he will give reply in this regard after seeking instructions from Advocate General.
The court adjourned hearing of both the cases.
