Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while seeking reply from government within two weeks in permanent appointment of chairman OGRA case has adjourned the hearing till June 23.
The petition filed by Azhar Siddique advocate came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar Monday.
The court was told that Munir Ahmad Awan chairman establishment was appointed chairman OGRA by giving him charge on temporary basis. Legally no one can be appointed chairman OGRA on temporary basis. Therefore, his appointment be declared null and void.
The learned counsel told the court further that a full procedure is there for making such appointments.
The court while seeking reply from government has adjourned the hearing of the case till June 23.
