IHC sends back the case against change of tribunal, election act amendment act to EC for reviewing the matter again

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has announced reserved judgment in respect of case against change of election tribunal and election act amendment ordinance.The decision has been announced on the petitions of Shoaib Shaheen and Ali Bokhari.The court while referring the case back to Election Commission (EC) has ordered for reviewing the matter again.The court annulled the EC decision for changing Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq announced the reserved judgment on Thursday.The court declared null and void EC order for changing Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.PTI leaders Shoaib Shaheen, Amir Mughal and Ali Bokhari had filed petitions against change of tribunal.IHC referred the case back to EC.EC had appointed retired judge in election tribunal. The order for appointing retired Judge Shakoor Paracha in election tribunal was also annulled.
