Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped trial court from announcing final decision in 190 million pounds case.The court has said in its decision trial court should complete its trial but it should not give final decision.The court issued notice on the acquittal plea of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi .The court while removing objections on both the applications directed registrar office to fix the case for hearing again on September 26.Acquittal pleas of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi came up for hearing with objections in the court Wednesday.A division bench of IHC comprising Chief Justice (CJ) Aamir Farooq and Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the petition.It has been requested in the petition the trial court be stopped from proceeding with the case ahead as long as it is in high court.The IHC while accepting the plea stopped trial court from giving final decision in 190 million pounds case. Trial court should complete trial but should not give final decision.Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had resorted to IHC for their acquittal in 190 million pounds NAB case.Accountability court had rejected acquittal plea and its decision was challenged in IHC.In the petition filed through barrister Suleman Safdar and Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry advocate , the stance has been taken that there is no such record against the petitioners on the basis of which sentence could be awarded. Acquittal is based on merit which the AC did not give.The IHC was requested through the petition that AC September 12 decision be nullified and PTI founder and Bushra Bibi be acquitted from the case.
