Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the order for providing the information including salaries of players of all formats of National Cricket team, match fee, central contracts, allowances, PCB budget and other financial benefits.

Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar while issuing stay order on PCB petition has suspended information commission July 9 decision till next hearing.

IHC while issuing notice to Pakistan Information Commission (PIC) and citizen Kashif Shahzad Awan has sought reply.

Kashif Malik advocate counsel for PCB appeared in the court and took the plea the information demanded are not only restricted to institutional expenses but the personal financial information of individuals and information of confidential agreements too have been sought.

The court while staying the implementation of PIC order adjourned the hearing of the case.
