IHC wraps up contempt of court plea of Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has wrapped up contempt of court plea filed by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi for not getting signed the power of attorney in 190 million pounds case declaring it infructuous.

The contempt of court plea over the alleged failure to obtain the required signed powers of attorney for their appeals in the £190 million corruption case came up for hearing in IHC. NAB, special prosecutor and Adiala jail authorities appeared in the court. The Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar said contempt of court pleas have become infructuous.
