Lahore: Anti Corruption Court (ACC) has approved one day exemption plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in alleged illegal appointments case.

The illegal appointments case came up for hearing before Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich of ATC Thursday.

Muhammad Khan Bhatti and other accused persons appeared in the court for their attendance.

The counsel filed one day exemption plea of Pervaiz Elahi during hearing of the case.

The petition said Pervaiz Elahi is unwell and doctors have advised him to take rest.

The court approved one day exemption plea of Pervaiz Elahi.

The court while seeking arguments on acquittal pleas of co-accused adjourned the hearing of the case till December 16.
