Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned IG Islamabad on March 13 in the case against allegedly keeping citizen Ali Muhammad under illegal detention.
Counsel Sher Afzal Marwat told the court Tuesday police officers lifted the man and his CCTV footage is available. There is no need of identification parade.
The case for keeping a man under illegal detention by police came up for hearing in IHC Tuesday.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani heard the petition filed by the citizen.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani inquired " yes tell us, have the police officers been arrested.
DSP said Joint Investigation Team has been constituted for police officers. The petitioner was called for identification of police officers but he did not come. We sent call up notice and its reply has also not come.
