Islamabad: PTI founder Imran Khan has filed miscellaneous petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) praying the court to fix his petition seeking suspension of his sentence in 190 million pounds case for early hearing.

Imran Khan has resorted to IHC through barrister Suleman Safdar.

Federation and chairman NAB have been made respondents in the petition.

The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that the case regarding suspension of sentence was fixed for hearing on March 24. Senior counsel was engaged in Supreme Court (SC) in murder case. The court adjourned hearing of the petition pertaining to suspension of sentence until after Eid due to short cause list.

The petitioner prayed the court to fix for hearing Imran Khan petition related to suspension of sentence with central appeal before Eid.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bushra Bibi had also requested the court to fix her plea seeking suspension of her sentence for early hearing a day before.
