Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi move IHC for early hearing of their petitions seeking suspension of sentence in 190 million pounds case

Islamabad: PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has moved Islamabad High Court (IHC) for early hearing of their petitions seeking suspension of their sentence in 190 million pounds case.

A big movement forward has been witnessed in 190 million pounds case. PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have filed petitions in IHC for early hearing of their plea seeking suspension of their conviction in 190 million pounds case.

The petition filed by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi said that their pleas seeking suspension of their sentence be heard soon.

They were convicted and sentenced on January 17 and they filed appeal plea on January 27.

First hearing of their petition seeking suspension of their sentence was held on May 15.

The petition said NAB is seeking adjournment repeatedly to prolong the case. Court was requested during previous hearing for fixing the case early. Despite assurance the petitions in connection with suspension of sentence were not fixed early.

The court is requested to issue order for fixing the both pleas seeking suspension of sentence early.
