India wants to use IWT as weapon but we will not compromise on it at any cost: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari


Gilgit: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it clear in unequivocal terms that India wants to use Indus Water Treaty (IWT) as weapon but we will not compromise on it at any cost.



” we are prepared to fight a war over it if necessary, he said this while addressing the main oath-taking ceremony of Chief Minster (CM) in Gilgit. ,People of GB still remember former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for his contributions who struggled for development and freedom of this region.



He said the people of Gilgit-Baltistan won their freedom from Dogra rule through struggle and sacrifice, earning a distinguished place in history.



Bilawal pledged to create better opportunities for young people, saying the public mandate in Gilgit-Baltistan carries a great responsibility for his party.



We will serve the country along with all political parties. We thank Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N who accepted mandate of people in GB.



Bilawal further said that Pakistan’s armed forces had inflicted a humiliating defeat on India in the recent conflict.



He warned Modi that no conspiracy on his part will be allowed to succeed.



I want to tell Modi we know his conspiracy. Israeli conspiracy failed.



We will frustrate every conspiracy of the enemy.



He said an Israeli conspiracy had failed and accused Modi of attempting to facilitate infiltration into Pakistan through Afghanistan



The decision of some parties for not contesting election is regrettable.
