Islamabad: Pakistan has called for reviewing the security of nuclear installation and nuclear material in India. Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson while strongly condemning the statement by Indian defence minister about Pakistan nuclear assets has said this irresponsible statement reflects Indian lack of security and failed defence strategy. Pakistan conventional defence capability is sufficient to stop Indian aggression.

The spokesperson said that last year, Californium³a radioactive substance worth $100 million³was recovered in India. Three incidents of similar thefts were reported in 2021 in India. They point to a black market for nuclear materials in India. Pakistan demanded for reviewing the security of nuclear installations and material in India.
