Indian forces martyred six Kashmiris in February

Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian forces personnel, continuing their brutal campaign of state terrorism, martyred six Kashmiris during last month.

According to media reports , during the month, Indian Army, police and notorious agencies arrested 29 civilians under draconian laws. Over three thousand Hurriyat leaders, activists, youth, students, and human rights defenders continue to remain imprisoned in Indian jails.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in a statement issued in Srinagar paid tribute to the victims of the Zakura and Tengpora massacres on their 36th anniversary, today.

The APHC reaffirmed the Kashmiri people's resolve to carry forward the mission of their martyrs at all costs. Over 50 innocent civilians were killed in the 1990 massacres at Zakura and Tengpora Batamaloo areas, while dozens more were injured when Indian forces opened fire on peaceful protesters.
