Srinagar: Indian police conducted raids at 32 different locations across Srinagar district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to the media reports, the crackdown targeted the residences of human rights defenders and pro-freedom activists. The Indian police claimed that the raids were carried out in connection with investigations under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
A police spokesperson stated that more than 200 locations have been raided over the past two months.
