Srinagar: Indian troops, in a fresh act of state terrorism, demolished a civilian residence in the Pulwama district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The house blown up by Indian forces belonged to the family of Dr Umar Nabi in the Koil area of the district. Police confirmed that the demolition was carried out during the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
An official said the structure was destroyed at around 2:30am using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Koil village.
Dr Umar Nabi had served as an assistant professor at Al-Falah University in Faridabad, Haryana. The Indian Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and its agencies have claimed that Dr Nabi was killed in a car explosion allegedly linked to the recent blast in New Delhi.
The car blast, which occurred near the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday night, claimed 13 lives and left several others injured.
