Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (IHC) has adjourned indictment of Imaan Mazaari and Hadi Ali Chattha till today (Wednesday) in breaching route on arrival of international cricket team and provoking the people case for their non appearance due to electricity suspension in Adiala jail.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra directed that jail authorities should ensure attendance of the accused on next hearing through video link otherwise contempt of court proceedings will be initiated against the jail authorities.
Jail authorities should ensure meeting of Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha with their lawyers.
He issued these directives on Tuesday.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case against the accused.
Prosecutor Raja Navid and junior lawyers to main lawyers of the accused persons appeared in the court.
Junior lawyer requested that the senior lawyers are engaged in the high court therefore, court should give copies of challan and date.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked copies of challan have already been given. Today court has to indict the accused in this case.
Junior lawyer said access to meet the clients is not being given.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra remarked wakalat namas have come after having been signed. The central lawyers should appear in the court at 11.30 a.m Then the accused will be indicted.
The court announced interval in hearing of the case till 11.30 a.m However the accused could not be presented in the court through video link due to suspension of electricity in the jail , therefore, they could not be indicted.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till today. Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha will be indicted. Case against both of the accused is registered in police station Aabpara.
