ISLAMABAD:Inside details of important meeting between Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have come to light.

According to sources both PM and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari exchanged views in details on political situation of the country, law and order in KP, governance, administrative matters between federation and PPP. forthcoming legislation, law and order situation and the matters of governance in the province and important political matters.

Consultation was made between federal government and PPP on provincial administrative matters and powers.

PPP raised the matter of giving effective role in provincial matters and proper powers to governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi.

Sources said the likely important legislation in parliament in coming days and proposed constitutional amendments were also discussed at length during the meeting.

PPP took the plea party should be taken into confidence prior to approval of key legal bills. The draft bills be provided in advance so that proposals and reservations of party could be presented after reviewing them.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presented PPP reservations before PM with reference to under consideration legal bills.

PM Shehbaz Sharif assured PPP will be taken on board in the important matters of legislation and consultation will continue to remove their reservations.

As per sources the matter of formation of parliamentary committee for electoral reforms and selection of its head came up under consideration in the meeting.

PPP expressed its interest in securing the chairmanship of the committee. They also exchanged views on giving representation to allied parties.

The ongoing political matters between government and opposition and overall political situation of the country too came under the discussion.

PM assured Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that consultation process will continue in future in political and legislation matters.

The allied parties will be taken into confidence in important decisions.

As per sources Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi, governor Punjab, chairman Senate and other leaders were included in PPP delegation during important meeting and dinner. Navid Qamar and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf also attended the dinner and important meeting.

The meeting is being dubbed important in the perspective of political consultation between federal government and PPP, cooperation and forthcoming parliamentary and legislation matters.
