Islamabad: The inside story of resignations of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah has come to open.

According to sources two judges of Supreme Court (SC) Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah had resigned from SC as judges.

Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minallah held farewell meeting with fellow judges in their chambers on the night between Thursday and Friday.

The sources said the fellow judges advised both of these judges not to resign. Fellow judges kept on convincing both the judges for not tendering resignations till last moment .

The two judges tendered resignation after meeting their fellow judges in their chambers and left SC.
