Islamabad: Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced to pay one basic pay as prize to employees who have participated in zero waste operation.

He stated Rs 15000 per head will be given to daily wages workers.

A special ceremony was held by interior minister Mohsin Naqvi in honor of CDA sanitary workers for the services rendered by them in exemplary cleanliness drive.

The interior minister paid tribute to sanitary workers who performed their duty day in day out diligently.

He said that 2400 tons waste was lifted from rural and urban areas of Islamabad in three days. Cleanliness operation was monitored through drone cameras. 2500 workers and 250 vehicles participated in the operation.

The citizens expressed satisfaction over zero waste operation on the eve of Eid ul Azha.
