Islamabad: An intra court appeal has been filed against decision of Islamabad High Court (IHC) for constitution of commission to investigate into allegations related to blasphemy.
The court has been requested through intra court appeal to nullify single court decision besides declaring the petition non maintainable.
One Rao Abdul Rahim has filed intra court appeal against the decision of Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan.
The appeal said single bench exercised suo motu power beyond plea made in petition . Single bench did not hear our stance in reply to allegations of petitioners.
The petitioner took the plea constitution of commission in criminal cases runs contrary to clauses of law and verdicts of superior courts.
It has been said in the appeal that the petitioner was not heard fully and decision for constitution of commission was made in haste.
It is pertinent to mention here that Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan through its decision had ordered federal government to constitute commission within one month.
