Iran Confirms No Talks with US, Vows to Continue Defense

Islamabad: Iran confirmed that no direct or indirect negotiations have taken place with the United States regarding a ceasefire. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that claims of ongoing talks during US-Israeli military aggression are not credible.

Baghaei emphasized that Iran continues to defend its territorial integrity and has responded appropriately to mediation offers from friendly countries, including Pakistan, in line with Iranian principles.

He added that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi remains in contact with regional diplomats to help de-escalate tensions. Iranian military officials warned that the US should not portray battlefield setbacks as agreements, reaffirming Iran's commitment to defensive operations and readiness.
