Islamabad: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday.

Discussions focused on Pakistan-UK relations. Both sides welcomed the positive momentum in bilateral ties and discussed upcoming engagements to carry this cooperation forward. They also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.

Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of efforts to ease tensions and reaffirmed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable way forward.
