Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Advisory Board for the Centre of Excellence for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), where he took stock of the progress made so far.
DPM/FM expressed satisfaction over the finalization of the Centre's location and directed that the planning and development process be expedited. He emphasized to ensure quality service delivery, trained professionals, specialized architecture, and the adoption of international best practices to ensure education, therapeutic services, and research in Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Education, Secretary Health, Special Secretary Finance, senior officials from concerned ministries, and other experts in the field.
