Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review infrastructural facilities at Karachi's ports.The meeting was attended by the Minister for Maritime Affairs, Secretaries of Maritime, and senior officials from Finance Ministry, as well as Chairmen of KPT and PQA.The committee reviewed recent modernization efforts that have enhanced cargo movement and reduced transaction costs. Future improvements in port operations through advanced IT and engineering solutions were also discussed.Ishaq Dar directed urgent implementation of reforms leading to efficient and cost-effective port operations.
