Antalya: On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
They had a warm and cordial exchange, highlighting the strength of Pakistan-Egypt ties. Both sides also discussed evolving regional developments and agreed to remain closely engaged.
Meanwhile in a separate statement issued on X, Ishaq Dar wrote we have just concluded the last leg of our engagements following productive and fruitful visits, accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where we held meaningful bilateral discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation across key areas.
At the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also had an excellent interaction with the President of Trkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and engaged meaningfully with other leaders on the sidelines of the forum. He said that this platform has truly evolved into a global space for dialogue, bringing together diverse perspectives in support of peace, stability, and cooperation. 'I extend my sincere appreciation to the Government and people of Trkiye for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements that made the forum a success' Ishaq Dar wrote.
'I also thank our team at the Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara for their outstanding efforts and support throughout this visit' Ishaq Dar concluded.
