Ishaq Dar emphasizes leveraging economic diplomacy to expand exports, attract investment

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting to review the overall strategy for economic diplomacy and enhancing trade.

The meeting was attended by the Ministers for Commerce and Law and Justice, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary, Secretary Commerce, and senior officers from concerned departments.

The meeting reviewed progress since the last session of the Committee.

Ishaq Dar emphasized leveraging economic diplomacy to expand exports, attract investment, and deepen trade and economic ties, especially with the European Union and other key partners.

Meanwhile Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review the existing infrastructure of the petroleum sector, including RLNG and allied areas.

The meeting was attended by the SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Petroleum, Chairman OGRA, and senior officials of the Ministry of Petroleum.

Ishaq Dar emphasized the need for continuous technological upgrades and synchronization of systems to enhance efficiency and ensure the supply of quality petroleum products at competitive prices.
